Mukhyamantri Majhi Ladki Bahin Yojna

      The Maharashtra government launched the Mukhyamantri Majhi Ladki Bahin Yojana as a social programme to support and empower women.

vLet's take examine some of the details:

1. This plan was introduced by Maharashtra's Deputy Chief Minister and Finance Minister, Shri Ajit Pawar, at the supplementary budget presentation in June 2024.

2. 1.Making women self-sufficient and financially independent is the main goal.

3. 2.The Maharashtra Department of Women and Child Development     is the nodal agency for carrying out this programme.

1. 3.A monthly ₹1,500 financial aid is provided for eligible women in order to enhance their nutritional and overall health.

 

v Age eligibility: 

i.  i. Women may apply who are between the ages of 21 and 65.

ii.Women who are unmarried, single, married, abandoned, widowed, penniless, and divorced are all eligible.

 

 Application Procedure:

 

There are two ways in which you can submit an application:
Online Application Form:
1. Visit the Mukhyamantri Majhi Ladki Bahin Yojana's (shortly to be launched) official website.

2.Complete the application by providing your name, address, phone number, and other information.

3.Upload the essential files, such as your bank account information and Aadhaar card.

4.Fill out the e-KYC by entering the necessary data.

v App Narishakti Doot:
1.Get the Narishakti Doot app by downloading it from the Google Play Store.


2.Complete the application form found inside the app.

3.Send in the necessary paperwork.

 

v Eligibility Requirements:

1.Maharashtra-based women are eligible.


2.A family's annual income shouldn't be more than ₹2,50,000.
Women in the specified age range who are single and unmarried may also apply.

3.The 65-year-old age limit has been added.
Women whose household income above the minimum requirement are not eligible.

 

 

 

v Budget Allocation:

1.To ensure the effective execution of this programme, the Maharashtra government has set aside ₹46,000 crore in funding.

2.Over 2.5 crore women are expected to gain from the Mukhyamantri Majhi Ladki Bahin Yojana.
